Why It’s Time To Write Your Book (And How To Easily Do It)

tm_family

Odds are you’ve thought about writing a book yourself. You know it’ll help you and help your career. But you don’t do it–mainly because, as you’ve discovered, the entire process for writing and publishing a book is totally broken. It’s either too time consuming, too confusing, or just plain annoying, so you stop (or never start).

In his YOUniversity keynote, Tucker will share all the secrets of his company, including how and why you should write a book, how you will benefit as a result, and most importantly, precisely how to do it. You will be introduced to a number of ideas, including:

  1. Why almost every professional should author a book
  2. Who should NOT author a book (and why not)
  3. Why your book is not just about you and your career (hint: the impact beyond you is just as important)
  4. How to position your book to ensure it has the reach and interest you need
  5. How to write your book (literally) 10x faster than you think you can
  6. The simple solutions to get past the “author problems” that stop you from finishing your book

More about Tucker

Tucker Max is the co-founder and CEO of Book In A Box, a company that turned book writing and publishing into a service.

Tucker has written three #1 New York Times Best Sellers, which have sold over 3 million copies worldwide. He is credited with being the originator of the literary genre, “fratire,” and is only the third writer (after Malcolm Gladwell and Michael Lewis) to ever have three books on the New York Times Nonfiction Best Seller List at one time.

He co-wrote and produced the movie based on his life/book, also titled “I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell.” He was nominated to the Time Magazine 100 Most Influential List in 2009.

He received his BA from the University of Chicago in 1998, and his JD from Duke Law School in 2001. He currently lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife Veronica and son Bishop.
